AriBio Group connects dementia prevention, treatment, and management… Holdings-centered growth strategy

AriBio Lab divides roles into prevention, AriBio treatment, and holds management

AriBio's 2030 sales target of 1 Trillion Won... Reinvest your own business profits into bio

AriBio Group is promoting the establishment of a business system that connects the prevention, treatment, and management of degenerative brain diseases such as dementia. The plan is to link the research and development and commercialization capabilities of the three companies, centered on AriBio Holdings (290690), and establish a growth structure that reinvests funds secured from its own business into the bio field.

The common vision presented by the group is ‘a world where everyone lives as themselves until the end.’ AriBio Group Chairman Jeong Jae-jun explained that since dementia goes through several stages even before symptoms appear, an approach that encompasses the entire disease process is necessary.

To implement this, AriBio Lab is responsible for prevention, AriBio is responsible for treatment, and AriBio Holdings is responsible for management. Chairman Chung said that by connecting the three companies into one platform, “We will take responsibility for the entire cycle of brain diseases.”

AriBio Lab, in charge of the prevention field, is promoting the development of an Alzheimer's vaccine based on its own immune adjuvant platform and vaccine development experience. We plan to expand the scope of research to prevent degenerative brain diseases by utilizing the technology and clinical experience accumulated in shingles vaccine research.

The core of the treatment field is ‘AR1001’, an oral Alzheimer’s disease treatment candidate being developed by AriBio. The company's goal is to prepare a new drug application (NDA) for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) based on the results of the global phase 3 clinical trial 'POLARIS-AD' and to pursue the license application and approval process in 2027-2028. It also presented a plan to achieve sales of 1 Trillion Won by 2030 through commercialization of AR1001 and subsequent pipeline expansion.

AriBio Holdings supplies capital and infrastructure to the two companies and grows the brain health care business in everyday life. Its role is to secure the financial resources needed to support research and development from its own business and connect the growth and investment performance of its subsidiaries back to the group's growth resources.

To this end, Holdings will strengthen the profit base of lighting and electrical construction, expand artificial intelligence (AI) data infrastructure, foster brain health management business, and pursue bio investment. In the lighting business, we plan to increase the proportion of high value-added products such as human-centered lighting, biotherapy, and medical special lighting.

The AI data infrastructure business will be expanded step by step through data center electrical construction and provision of space and facilities for occupancy. The plan is to lay a foundation for integrating research and clinical data from group companies and expand it to build AI computing infrastructure. The plan is to secure customer demand first and then invest to manage the capital burden.

In the brain health management field, we will review ways to use human-centered lighting for sleep and cognitive management and establish a sales channel for transcranial electronic medicine. It is a project that connects prevention and treatment with daily care. We also plan to apply technologies and pipelines secured through investments and mergers and acquisitions in the bio and pharmaceutical fields to the group's business.

The sales target presented by Holdings is 200 billion to 300 billion Won in 2027-2028 and 300 billion to 500 billion Won in 2029-2030. The strategy is to invest the profits generated from its own business into supporting subsidiaries and new businesses, and reinvest the results of research and development and commercialization to increase the group's growth and the shareholders' value of the holdings.
