HLB Chairman's Personal Firm Buys Over 200,000 Additional Shares

Epoke, 6 intraday purchases… Expanded stock holdings to 534,480 shares. Purchased 1.22 million shares of affiliated stocks 62 times this year in personal name.

Jin Yang-gon, Chairman of HLB Group, is expanding the purchase of shares of affiliates through a private corporation following his personal name. This time, the company continued its investment in affiliates by purchasing an additional 200,000 shares of HLB Genex.

According to HLB Group on the 15th, Epoke, a financial investment company in which Chairman Jin holds a 99% stake, purchased 207,897 shares of HLB Genex (187420) six times from the 6th to the 14th. Accordingly, Epoke's holdings of HLB Genex increased from 326,583 shares to 534,480 shares.

Epoke previously purchased 218,718 shares of HLB Innovation stock and 130,584 shares of HLB Therapeutics stock on the market from September 23rd to October 1st. Including this additional purchase of HLB Genex, the total number of shares recently purchased from the three affiliates is 557,199.

Chairman Jin continues to purchase affiliated stocks under his personal name. This year, a total of 1,224,029 shares of stock in six affiliates, including HLB Innovation, HLB Panazine, HLB Therapeutics, HLB Genex, HLB Biostep, and HLB Pep, were purchased 62 times.

HLB Group explained that this share purchase reflects Chairman Jin's judgment that the current corporate value is undervalued compared to the growth potential of affiliates. They are expanding their investments in affiliates not only in their individual names but also through corporations they control.

An HLB Group official said, "Chairman Jin Yang-gon's continuous and repeated share purchases demonstrate his confidence in the future growth of the group and its affiliates through direct investment," and added, "It contains the will to support the growth of affiliates from a long-term perspective and strengthen responsible management to increase corporate value and shareholder value."

Meanwhile, HLB Genex is strengthening its business competitiveness focusing on industrial special enzymes and bio-healthcare materials. We are expanding the application of our flagship product, Catalase, to the semiconductor process, while also expanding our business area to include enzymes for textiles and enzymes for manufacturing pharmaceutical raw materials.
