‘Run BTI’ operation based on blood sugar and learning correlation… Proposal of 8 types of customized learning methods
Introducing ‘Picoring’, a continuous blood glucose meter… Expanding consumer contact points in the sports and wellness fields
HLB Lifecare, a subsidiary of HLB Global (003580), introduced an experience program combining running and blood sugar management at the ‘2026 Korea Running Expo’. We are expanding consumer contact points into the sports and wellness fields by introducing the continuous blood sugar monitor ‘Picoring’ and suggesting customized running methods for each type.
HLB Life Care announced on the 30th that it is operating an experiential booth at this expo where you can learn about the correlation between running and blood sugar. The event is hosted by Runable, the organizer of the JTBC Seoul Marathon, and will be held at the Seoul Trade Exhibition and Convention Center (SETEC) in Gangnam-gu, Seoul until the 31st.
The experience booth offers the self-developed ‘RunBTI’ test. It was created based on correlation data between running and blood sugar studied by Seocho Endo Internal Medicine Director Kim Jeong-gyu, allowing participants to easily understand the relationship between exercise and blood sugar.
Like MBTI, RunBTI is a way to find out your type by answering questions. When participants answer 10 questions, they can confirm their running type among 8 types, including weak fasting type, delayed digestion type, and fasting discharge type. For each type, running methods and recommended missions tailored to the individual, such as when to eat before running and energy supply during exercise, are also presented.
The blood sugar pattern before, during, and after running is expressed as ‘my body’s fuel gauge.’ It guides participants on things to consider during exercise, such as the risk of hypoglycemia and timing of energy supply, to help participants understand the importance of blood sugar management and form exercise habits suited to their type.

During the event period, various prizes will be given to those who sign up for Picoring Mall membership or participate in the RunBTI test. If you share your RunBTI test results on your Instagram story, you can receive a 3-day supply of ‘pre-meal food’. Visitors are provided with a leaflet containing a 15% discount coupon for Picoring Mall.
Picoling is an ultra-small smart continuous blood glucose monitor (CGM) that, once attached, can check blood sugar changes in real time without collecting blood for up to 15 days. Through the dedicated application ‘My Picoring’, you can check changes in blood sugar levels due to daily life such as eating, exercising, and sleeping and use it to manage your lifestyle habits.
HLB Life Care has been expanding health management services using blood sugar data since the launch of Picoring in April. Recently, the company launched the pre-meal product ‘Pre-meal Sugar’ and the low-sugar diet product ‘Mildang Sotbap’, building a product line that covers everything from blood sugar measurement to dietary management.
The company plans to use its participation in this expo as an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of blood sugar management during exercise and to expand the scope of use of Picoring in sports and wellness fields, including running.
Kim Seung-soo, CEO of HLB Lifecare, said, “Blood sugar changes not only with meals but also with various activities of daily life, such as exercise, so it is important to understand and manage your blood sugar patterns.” He added, “We will continue to expand personalized health management services by incorporating blood sugar data into various areas such as exercise and diet, focusing on Picoring.”
